Below: another exhibition well worth seeing by ex DW member, Christine Atkins. The Importance of Being a Stick is on at Linton and Kay Galleries, Subiaco until 23rd March. Her work is exquisite.

March meeting


Show and Tell
above: Susie's animal, vegetable, mineral challenge 12" x 12" canvas in progress. Below: Jan O's bird piece in progress. We have been given the theme of birds for our display at the Claremont craft fair in August.



Margaret P did the following 2 layered pieces in a workshop with Jocelyne Leath.








Rae's hand embroidered pieces done for 2 challenges she is involved in.




Below: Judith's breakdown printing done at a workshop given by Lyn N who was a student in my Mark Making workshop at Fibres West - she has really taken to this technique.




The doll was made by Delys for a commission.

Our AGM was held this month - most of the positions remain the same.



Our activity for March was making string. Annette gave a demo - below: some of the string work she had to show us.
